MyAngieGirl Chatty Sundress for 18 and 20 Inch Dolls - PDF Sewing Pattern

The Chatty Sundress pattern is a throwback to the early 1960s where little girl's dresses were short and sassy.  This four piece set includes a short sundress with a gathered skirt that ties in the back, a shorty blouse to wear over the sundress, half slip and panties. Designed to fit both 18" dolls as well as the original vintage 20" Chatty Cathy doll.

Recommended Fabrics:  Lightweight Wovens, Cotton, Cotton-blends, Embroidered Eyelet Lace for Shorty Blouse

Supplies Needed:

Notions: Thread, 1 Yard of 2” wide Eyelet Lace (for blouse collar and slip), one package 1/8” wide elastic, two small snaps 

For Shorty Blouse:

1 Yard Embroidered Eyelet Lace 5”wide

For Sundress and Panties:

1/3 Yard Fabric for Skirt and Panties

1/6 Yard Contrast Fabric for Bodice and Sash

For Slip:

1/8 Yard Fabric for Slip

7/8 Yard 1/4” wide Ribbon
